Say Cheers with Mocktails

April 29, 2023

Weddings are all about celebrations. And what better way to celebrate than to say cheers, in the company of loved ones. But of late, people are bringing in the health factor to partying. Youngsters are increasingly showing interest in healthy drinking, and that’s given rise to the growth of Healthy Mocktails. After all, you want to cherish the moments, and not end up with a hangover on the very next day, when there's a 4-days’ event lined up.

Varun Sudhakar of Bar Bundle shares with us three of the best mocktail recipes that are not just healthy but also tasty.

Signature drinks:

If the above do not interest you, you may also create your own signature drinks. Some things to keep in mind for that:

  1. Mass appeal

Ensure that the flavours you select have mass appeal. You would not want people to feel left out. If your signature drink is something that you think might not be enjoyed by most people, it is always safer to keep options for people.

  1. Pick a seasonal drink

One needs to keep in mind the season during which the drink is served. You don't want your guests to fall sick and your mixologists to fall short of the ingredients. You may have something spicy and warm for winters and something citrus and tropical over the summer.

  1. A story to depict

The drink you select should say something about the story of the couple. Maybe the place you met or the season you love. Or it might be something that takes you back to the good old days.

  1. Blend with the menu

Last but one of the most important things to keep in mind while selecting a signature drink, is your food menu. Ensure that the drink blends in with the cuisine you are serving.
