“We met on Facebook, and love blossomed after the first date, arranged through a mutual friend. Four years of togetherness led to the decision to tie the knot, the way love was meant to be!”
She continues,
“I wanted the wedding to be ethereal, magical, and classy. We had planned for the wedding in Bahrain, but we changed that due to the pandemic.”

From celebrity stars like Tamannah Bhatiya(Bride’s bestie) to the other guests, all had themed outfits, contrasting to that of the bride.

Traditions: Hanna’s unique wedding had an amalgamation of traditions of the East and the West. Her plush wedding presented the majestic spirit, the palaces further adding to the show. “The Indian rituals made their way with a slight twist. Mehendi, sangeet, and the nikkah were majestic, with a sprinkling of French, English, and Lebanese influences.”
Style: All of her outfits were custom-made and personalised. Every detail put into her outfits by her favourite designers, Elie Saab(Lebanese fashion designer) and Ohaila Khan(Hanna’s sister), matched her personality and aura.
About her luxe wedding couture, she says,
“The attires were anything but mainstream. I wanted my clothes to reflect my personality and taste. The unconventional style took over 400 hours for embroidery. The ensembles were in reds, yellows and pastels. Rugs, chandeliers, and velvet couches, with a not-so-loud aesthetic, made their way into the hearts of all.”
The proposal:
Hanna shared one of those dreamy, fairytale proposals everyone dreams of, with her beau Shahrukh in Bahrain.
“While vacationing in Bahrain, Shahrukh popped the question on a private beach. It seemed straight out of a fairy tale. Fairy lights, candles, and roses to a canopied table with the backdrop of sunset and ocean, Shahrukh made it all perfect, like paradise on earth.”
Jaipur as her Wedding Destination:
On the question of choosing Jaipur as her wedding destination, she answers,
“My Rajputana lineage drew me close to my roots and the wedding took place in Jaipur, the city of palaces, and royal glamour. The venues were divided between Jai Mahal and Ram Bagh Palace, both of which are owned by the Taj Group. The decor was fresh and elegant.”
